This written crochet pattern includes all the instructions needed to make a cute crocheted mouse with a vest.

Includes one PDF file, 10 pages. Pattern is written in English, using US crochet terminology. I included detailed instructions, many step-by-step photos and useful tips and tricks.

SIZE

38 cm (15”), when crocheted with worsted weight wool blend and a 3,50 mm crochet hook

DIFFICULTY

2: Beginner - suitable for beginner crocheters, includes some more complicated stitches and techniques.

SKILLS REQUIRED

YOU WILL NEED

  • Yarn. I used Lane Cervinia ‘Val Gardena’, a worsted weight wool and acrylic blend, 50 g = 80 m (50 g = 80 yd) / 10 ply / 9 wpi. You will need about 125g of yarn for the body, 12g for the vest and just a bit for the nose.
  • 3,25 - 4,25 mm crochet hook (US size D-G) or according to the yarn.
  • Polyester fiberfill, wool, wadding etc. for stuffing.
  • 12 mm (1/2”) safety toy eyes or buttons, beads, felt etc.
  • Button.
  • Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
