The pumpkin body is worked over 40 rounds. Rounds 1 to 9 build the base, Rounds 10 to 33 form the middle section, which gradually narrows as you go, and Rounds 34 to 40 widen back out again. This gives the finished pumpkin that classic gourd shape: narrow in the middle and full at both ends!
