Need a small area rug, but can’t find the perfect colors or size? This simple yet distinctive slip stitch pattern lets you knit and felt a rug that’s just right for the area you wish to cover. The rug pictured here, was 25” x 45” before it was felted. After felting, and when thoroughly dry, it measured 23” x 38”. Knit the pattern as written for similar results, or you can add yarn and pattern repeats for a larger rug.
