Longfellow is a crescent shaped shawl worked up in one skein of Verdant Gryphon Mithril in the La Cantante colorway. It starts off with stockinette short-rows and flows into an elegant lace pattern.

The larger needles are used only for the cast-on. The crochet hook is used for the bind-off and optionally for the star stitches.

The Mithril is a true joy to work with and comes in some truly outstanding colors. But the Mithril is a seasonal yarn, so if you have your heart set on this “cinnamon-flecked pumpkin” color you need to head on over to the Verdant Gryphon and snatch some up!
