This hat is instant gratification. It has double pompoms for double the fun! A super simple chevron is worked on the side of the beanie. I like super jumbo yarn for the pompoms on this, but thrums or thick roving would be fun also!

Sizes: Toddler (Child, Adult) to fit a head circumference of 17” (19”, 21”)/43 (48.5, 53.5) cm.

Yarn: 70 (85, 100) yards/65 (75, 90) meters of bulk weight yarn. Sample shown in Malabrigo Chunky colorway Polar Morn. Optional – super bulky yarn or roving yarn for two giant pompoms!

Needles: Size US 10.5/6.5 mm and 11/8 mm circular needles with a long (40”/100 cm) cable, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 11 stitches = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch on larger needles. Row gauge is not important.

Notions: 3 stitch markers and a jumbo pompom maker (optional).
Techniques: Knitting in the round and 3-needle bind-off or Kitchener stitch.
