Look At My Holes Boxy
Look At My Holes Boxy is an oversized, flowy box top perfect for the beach and stylish enough for everywhere else too. It is knit top down, features a simple boat neck that is easily customized to get the perfect on or off the shoulder look, and a split hem plus twisted ribbing add a special finishing touch. Large needles, low yardage, and plenty of plain knit rows make this a quick and satisfying knit.
YARN
Kelbourne Woolens Mojave- sport weight, 185 yds (169
meters), 50 grams, 60% cotton, 40% linen. Sample knit
in the colorway 430 Electric Blue.
SIZING
XS(S, M, L, XL) (XXL, 3X, 4X, 5X)
To fit a chest circumference of:
30(34, 38, 42, 46) (50, 54, 58, 62)“
76 (86.5, 96.5, 106.5, 117)(127, 137, 147.5, 157.5)cm
Garment is designed to be worn with 0-30” (0-76 cm) of
positive ease in the chest and has a finished chest and
body circumference of:
48(50.25, 54.75, 59.5, 64) (66.25, 70.75, 75.5, 80)”
122 (127.5, 139, 151, 162.5)(168.5, 179.5, 192, 203) cm
Rather than choosing a size based on your chest
circumference, I recommend choosing a size based on
your desired wingspan (where you want your sleeves to
hit your arms) The top has a finished wingspan of:
26(27.25, 29.5, 31.75, 34) (35.25, 37.5, 39.75, 42)”
66 (69, 75, 80.5, 86.5)(89.5, 95.5, 101, 106.5) cm
People who typically knit XS or S may prefer sizing up for
more positive ease and a wider wingspan, and people
who typically knit 3X-5X may prefer sizing down for less
positive ease and a narrower wingspan. If your chest
and waist measurements are either very close or the
same, choose a size that is at least 4” (10 cm) larger
than your chest size. Mid-range sizes (M-XXL) I
recommend choosing a size with 10-20” positive ease at
the chest.
My chest circumference is 39” (99 cm) and I knit a size
M for 15.75” (40 cm) of positive ease.
YARDAGE
431(453, 496, 539, 582) (604, 647, 690, 733) yards
