The pattern written for two berets. One hat has a classic beret shape, kniited with variegated yarn (Noro silk garden sock) and 3mm needles, another hat has a slightly slouchy shape, a brim, and a different lace pattern. It knitted with solid color (madelinetosh sock) using bigger needle #4 (3.5mm).

Before you start the hat please check you gauge for brimmed hat - the full process - knit, block and measure, because some yarn tend to stretch after blocking (personal experience with Tosh sock, I had to put it in a dryer, of course delicate cycle ;))
