The Looking-Glass Shawl, named for Alice’s adventures beyond the mirror, evokes a sense of stepping into another world; your eyes follow the reflected motif that veers off along an everlengthening edge. Knit with increases along one side to create an acute triangle shape, this wrap
employs cabling to create the curves and lines that build this striking motif. I’ve knit this piece with Sweet Georgia’s Merino Silk Fine yarn, which makes it makes it extra soft against the skin and gives it a beautiful drape.

YARN: Sweet Georgia Merino Silk Fine, 2 skeins in Tumbled Stone (50% fine merino wool and 50% cultivated silk, 380 yds in each skein)

NEEDLES: 3.5mm 24” circular needle

GAUGE: 24 sts x 32 rows in 4” (stockinette)

MEASUREMENTS: shawl/wrap measures 50” along vertical edge by 30” at top edge.
