A while ago I made this square plain cotton. Then one day I made it using this rainbow cotton yarn and I loved the look with the cream and rainbow colours. To me this square looks like a window, so I decided to make a cushion reflecting our current coronavirus lockdown situation in 2020 and it is called the “Looking through the windows” cushion.

It is made up of lots tiny squares which are crocheted together to form the overall larger window effect.

It is a quick project which would also look great in other projects and is a useful cushion for your home or for a present. You can use up yarn from your stash as it just takes a few balls of the cream colour and 1-2 of the joining colour depending on how you make the back of the cushion of course.
