Everyone loves to knit for a baby, and this blanket is a fun and quick project. It only uses two skeins of yarn, making it economical too. The cable and rib pattern is easy to knit, looks impressive, and the blanket is the perfect size to throw over a car seat or to use in a stroller.

Materials

Knitting Loom: 28” AKB knitting board

Yarn: 680 yards of worsted weight yarn. Vanna’s Choice (Dusty Green) was used in the sample.

Gauge: 12 sts and 14 rows over a 4” swatch in Stockinette Stitch
