I make and sell knitwear and am always looking to add more color and texture to the shelves. I also love adding bits of contrast colors to simple designs as a way to play with my yarn stash.

The Loon Lake Cowl is meant to show off how you can play with Malabrigo Caracol and Rasta together, but any two super bulky yarns can be used.

Cowl pattern comes with instructions to make a quick and simple neck warmer with less than one skein of Malabrigo Rasta and a bit of an accent color using Malabrigo Caracol.

The pattern is written for one size, average adult. The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up.

Pattern calls for US Size 17 (12.75mm) needles, but US Size 17 (12.0mm) needles should also work and not cause gauge issues.
