The Pattern
The Loops and Ladders Crochet Beanie is a fun and textured design that you can create using a range of beautiful colours and yarn fibres. I have used both Merino and Acrylic fibres for this hat and both worked beautifully!

Details and Sizes:
This crochet pattern uses American crochet terminology and has step by step directions for each round as well as lots of clear photos. The pattern includes stitch counts for 3 sizes for both head circumference (17-24 inchs) and height (8-10 inches).

However, the pattern is very easily adapted to make it smaller, bigger, shorter or higher if you wish to do so.

Skill Level:
This detailed crochet pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and includes written instructions for every step of the make and lots of photos to help more visual makers. It requires a knowledge of Single Crochet and Double Crochet stitches as well as basic decreasing techniques such as Double Crochet 2 Together. The pattern includes explanations for all special stitches.

Materials:
You will need approximately 150 grams of DK weight yarn and a 3.5 mm and a 4mm crochet hook.
