Crochet a fun, textured blanket with a whimsical polka dot design. This simple blanket pattern uses single crochet and chain stitches to create the base for plush, velvet loop stitch circles. Make the dots with any color combination of soft Bernat Velvet yarn.

Materials: 7” 18 cm wide piece of cardboard for tassels. Yarn needle.

GAUGE
Blanket: 8 sts and 6 rows = 4” 10 cm in pat with Bernat® Blanket™ and larger hook.
Loopy Dots: 10 sc and 11 rows = 4” 10 cm with Bernat® Velvet™ or Bernat® Crushed Velvet™ and smaller hook.
