This was my second cable hat pattern. When I found the yarn I knew exactly what I wanted to do, but I wasn’t sure where to start. I have seen similar patterns floating around on Instagram and Ravelry and knew I could find a way to recreate it! Through trial and error, I was able to come up with this design. I love how the final pattern creates a smooth blend of crossing yarn from the bottom to the top. This design is also very forgiving. If you miscount the increases, you can add or remove stitches during the first row of cable stitches by either m1 or k2tog in the back cable.
