The pattern is intermediate level, because of the numerous steps involved. However, an advanced beginner can do it! Here are the skills required:

• cast on
• knit
• purl
• ssk (decrease)
• k2tog (decrease)
• kfb (increase)

The pattern uses size 3 and size 5 needles. The llama is worked flat, with regular knitting needles. No dpns necessary!
