The Lopez Beanie is designed for advanced beginning knitters and assumes that the knitter knows knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, and decreasing. Some new techniques might be 2-color knitting and corrugated rib.

When knit in worsted weight yarn (11-12 wraps per inch), the hat will fit a 21” to 23” (53 cm to 58cm) head. The finished circumference after blocking is 20” (51 cm).

A total of 6 colors are used, ranging from .1 oz (3 gr) to 1.25 oz (35 gr), making this a great way to use the leftovers from previous projects.
