According to legend, Lorelei was a beautiful siren who sat upon a rock and lured sailors to shipwreck and destruction. With her little octopus friend by her side, Lorelei is dressed for adventure and is ready to take on her watery world!

Your purchase includes instructions on how to make Lorelei and her little octopus friend as well.

Materials
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• Two 18mm metal 4-hole buttons
• Two 6mm black buttons
• Black Embroidery Floss
• Invisible Thread
• Embellishments: A variety of metal buttons, gears, keys, chains, etc. as desired
• ¼” Wooden dowel, plus a tool to cut it (I use pruning shears) - or other method to reinforce neck such as wire

Size - Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size of the yarn and hook you use. Made with the materials listed, the doll measures 10” and the octopus is about 3 1/2” (not including the hat).

Pattern Notes - The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
