There are a number of ways to cast on, many of them claiming to be the stretchiest, but, in my humble opinion, none are as stretchy as the edge of a garter stitch.

Because there are a number of people in my life who require non-binding socks, I accepted the challenge of figuring out how to knit a sock with a sideways constructed top with a traditionally constructed foot in order to get a sock with a top that neither binds nor slouches while the foot of the sock fits as expected.

You will notice that there are many ‘outside the box’ techniques used in this pattern, some which you will find in my Lorigami Glove. Hence the name.
I hope you like the results!
