This is a simple baby blanket pattern with lots of texture. Although it’s all in one color, the grouped rows of the same stitch create a striped. The half double crochet rows with a row of single crochets in the third bar of the half double crochet create additional texture and delineation between stitch sections.

Final dimensions: approximately 34” x 37”

If you want a different sized blanket, you can change the starting chain length, just keep an even number of stitches for the starting chain. Additionally to make the blanket longer or shorter by repeating the pattern sections additional times.
