Made in collaboration with Yarn Citizen and named for a hiking trail at my favorite national park, Joshua Tree, Lost Horse is a lightweight, airy shawl featuring a simple, soothing lace pattern knit with very special yarn. Jimmy Beans Wool’s new Yarn Citizen line is an eco-conscious yarn line, spun from upcycled wool and ends from their mill. Unity is 100% wool, and I was lucky enough to design this one-skein shawl with the fingering weight version of this yarn. The stunning solid color palette lets the patterning shine, and the yarn is the perfect mix of rustic and soft. Perfect for transitioning seasons, this classic, wearable design looks great in the city or in the mountains!

A really great size for a one-skein shawl, but super easy to make larger with additional yardage!

This fingering weight asymmetrical triangular shawl is created starting at the corner and shaped using simple increases. Clean edges keep everything nice and tidy.

This pattern contains both written and charted instructions.
