Lou Blouse is a simple yet versatile blouse in ribbing. The ribbed fabric gently hugs your body and the ruffles at hem and cuffs add a feminine touch to it. Adjusting the sleeve and body lengths to your liking and using a suitable yarn, it can be worn at any moment of the year.

It is worked from the top down. First, the back is worked back and forth to the underarms with armhole shaping and set on hold. Then stitches for each front are picked up and short rows are worked to shape the shoulders, then increases are made for the neckline. Once the two pieces are joined, the front is worked back and forth with armhole shaping to the underarms where the front and the back are joined together. The body is knitted seamlessly in the round to the hem with ruffles. The neck opening is finished with i-cord bind-off. Lastly, stitches are picked up along the armhole opening and short rows are worked to shape a sleeve cap. Then the sleeve is gradually tapered until your desired length. The hem, cuffs and neck edge are knitted with a contrasting color yarn.

Gauge

トップダウンで編んでいきます. まず後ろ身頃を脇下までアームホールを形成しながら往復編みし, 目を休めます. 次に前身頃の目を拾い, ショートロウで肩を成形し, 次にネックラインを形成します. 左右の前身頃を繋げたら, アームホールを成形しながら脇下まで往復編みします. 脇下で前身頃と後ろ身頃を繋げたら身頃を裾まで輪編みでシームレスに編み裾のフリルを作ります. 襟ぐりはi-cordで仕上げます. 最後に袖ぐりに沿って拾い目しショートロウで袖山をつくり, その後徐々に減目しながら希望の長さまで輪編みします. 裾と袖口, 襟ぐりはコントラストカラーの糸を使用します.
