Louie the Llama is soft & squishy and just the right size for cuddling!

Made from Blanket Yarn with an 8mm hook this llama works up quickly! Finished llama is about 17 inches tall.

Special Feature: Attach as you go, no-sew limbs! Make the limbs first & attach them to the body as you go so you don’t have to sew them on after! (The ears, tail & snout do require sewing)

Materials Needed:
8mm Crochet Hook
12 mm black safety eyes
Stuffing
Yarn needle
Blanket (super bulky) yarn in 3 colors (about 115 yards total):

  • Main Color (about 65 yards)
  • Feet Color (about 10 yards)
  • Sweater Color (about 40 yards)
  • Worsted weight yarn for the hair, nose & mouth (about 5 yards)

A note about gauge:

  1. Make sure your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing does not show through. If it does, go down a hook size.
  2. Finished Llama may be slightly smaller/larger than listed if your tension is tighter/looser. Just try to stay consistent so the pieces are the correct proportions.
