This top is knit sideways in two rectangular panels, starting at the center and ending at the sleeve cap hem. The fabric alternates between a modified garter stitch and easy lace sections. Once completed, the panels are blocked to size and then seamed on sides and center front/back. Because this top is knit sideways, the finished length will be dictated by the number of stitches and the finished width will be determined by the number of rows. Suggestions are provided for making the top longer or wider, if desired. This will require additional yarn.
