One skein on Big Twist solids (380 yds) is enough to make two hats.

I am terrible at gauge, but if it gives you any idea, I cast on 96 stitches of worsted weight yarn for a regular ribbed hat for a 21-22” head; ribbing on size 4 needles and hat body on size 6 needles. This hat is supposed to fit snug against the head and I find that 100 stitches on a non-ribbed hat is perfect for that.
