The Louisiana Street shawl is a right-triangle shawl with some easy texture and comforting garter stitch. Louisiana Street is constructed just a bit differently. Instead of the dreaded increasing to infinity, this shawl starts at the widest point. That’s right- only decreases! Simple, but engaging, this is just the right project to drag along to knit night or out and about.

This pattern was created in collaboration with the incredible local yarn shop McKinney Knittery in McKinney, TX and debuted during the North Texas Yarn Crawl in September 2019.
