This pattern is for a made to measure net cap, crocheted top down and seamlessly with optional beading. The cap is similar to a skull cap and is designed to be fitted.

Included in the pattern is a crochet chart, written instructions, and photos to illustrate the beading options and stitch progression.

The suggested yarn is Fonty Merlin Bobineau, a lace/thread weight linen. The dark blue sample is made with this yarn. A 25g spool should make at least two caps. Alternatively, you can use any yarn ranging from lace to sock weight (2ply to 3ply), including textured yarns. You may need to reduce the number of starting stitches if you choose to use a thicker yarn.

Beading is optional but recommended - adding beads to the scallop edging helps to weigh it down and create a nice drape and fit. I would advise using ~20 accent beads and ~60-80 seed beads for your bead edging. The beads are sewn on after finishing, so it is helpful to have a beading/thin needle and sewing thread to attach them.
