This pattern uses approximately 200g of Aran weight yarn. I used Noro Kureyon leftovers from a previous project for the intarsia work. Of course you can make your own selection of yarn for the intarsia, but don’t go for a skinnier than worsted weight yarn.

The pattern is fully written, except for the colourwork, which is done by chart for ease of use.
This pattern requires the knitter to be comfortable with cable work. There are some unusual stitches used, with full instructions on how to do them.
