This pretty flower block features pops of coloured petals, unique textured leaves and a lovely lace join. It is the main block for the Love Blooms Throw. The throw also has a lovely matching lace edging.

Although the pattern suggests a worsted weight, any yarn could be used.

There are no complicated stitches, and all the stitches and placement are explained clearly in the pattern notes, in writing and diagrams. So this pattern is perfect for the average crocheter.

I have designed the flower square to be worked as one continuous piece, including the joins, with the change of colour ends woven in as you proceed (so, if you were to work the square in only one colour, there would not be any joins throughout).
The pattern comes in a US and UK version, with written and charted instructions.
