A baby-version of my “Love Grows” blanket, this design uses a cotton-wool blend sock yarn (so is WASHABLE) to create a 42-inch (diameter) baby blanket knit completely in the round.

The self-striping sock yarn knits up quickly on US #5 circs in a 8x repeat around. The directions are charted and round-by-round for this practical, yet beautiful, design!

• Starting at the center (on 8 sts joined), you’ll work 8 repeats around.
• After the 109th rnd, you’ll increase and work the modified “feather-and-fan” edging
• Wet-blocking is a MUST with this design – block to 48-inch diameter. Once the blanket is thoroughly air-dried, it will relax to slightly more than a 42-inch diameter circle.
