This little headband is a great project for your first try at stranded knitting. With thanks to the lovely Anna Elliott for the name!

Yarn: Uses small amounts of 203 (grey), 93 (red), 91 (orange), 23 (yellow), 47 (green), 18 (blue) and 20 (purple). You’ll only need a small amount of each of the colours.
These are the same shades as used for the Sunny Later armwarmers, and you can get this headband out of your leftovers (though you may need a little extra of the grey if you knit the larger size).

This pattern is part of my collection “Shetland Story”, produced in celebration of Shetland Wool Week. The 7 patterns that make up the collection will be released over the next couple of weeks and they each use Shetland wool of different types. The photos have all been taken during my trip to Shetland too.
All of the patterns are designed to be knit quickly and easily, since we’re heading in to gift-knitting season, and to encourage knitters to try out Shetland yarn if they’ve not used it before.
