This is a stranded mitten pattern knitted in the round, designed to showcase precious hand-painted or left over variegated yarns with small amounts of solid colours for the stripes and stranded heart design.

One size to fit an average woman’s hand. Larger or smaller needles may be used to vary the size slightly.
To knit the design as shown, a variegated background colour and three different solid colours were used.
