A modern take on traditional fair isle/intarsia socks. These socks are knit in the round on 2.00 needles* with a signature slogan below the cuff. I choose “love is love” for this year’s pride season, which sadly will be a bit different than we are used to.

But as love is universal, you may as well adapt this pattern with different colors and statements to your own preferences.

This pattern is a schematic pattern. It doesn’t hold you by the hand step by step. I knit these socks for myself and just felt like sharing the recipe in case someone is interested. So, they are a men’s size 8.5 / EU 42.

I’m sure proficient knitters will be able to change it according to their wishes, preferences, and size. If there’s enough interest, I am certainly willing to provide more detailed instructions for beginners.

So, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter for further updates.

One little note concerning the yarn: I knit this with the Wollmeise pure yarn cuz I had plenty of scraps around. If you expect to get a lot of wear out of these socks, I’d recommend switching to a wool blend!
