The Love Letter Garland is a cute way to decorate for Valentine’s Day or celebrate love any other day! It would look great in any color for a wedding! It would also be darling to dress up a classroom, or you could forego turning it into garland and give the love letters as Valentine’s!
The method of construction is mosaic overlay crochet worked in the round…much easier than it sounds! For my garland I used Scheepjes Colour Crafter which is a DK weight, non-pilling yarn that is super soft and really delightful to work with. There is a video tutorial for this, along with a chart AND full written row by row directions if you don’t care for charts.
Feel free to sub any yarn you have access to (this is a good stash buster!), but please know your finished size will likely be different than mine, though that doesn’t matter much for this pattern. I would recommend always using a hook that is 1.00mm smaller than the yarn calls for.
