LOVE LOCK LACE

ABOUT:

Are you after a quick and easy make to keep your hands busy and your heart happy?

Well, look no further than the Love Lock Lace. With a simple two-row repeat, this pattern uses only three stitches and grows fast.

This pattern contains 6 pages of detailed instructions along with a chart.

Feel free to play around with different yarn, but this pattern does work beautifully using King Cole Bramble in ‘Gorse’.

SKILL LEVEL:

This pattern consists of chain, single (double) crochet and treble (double treble) crochet stitches, so as long as you can do those three, then this pattern will be a breeze. I would recommend this pattern be for an intermediate beginner and beyond.

GAUGE:

There is no gauge! What? Well, you can adjust this pattern to suit your needs, so there are no real limitations except for your yarn and if you have the correct hook size for that yarn. So in saying that, if you know you have a tight tension, go up a hook size, and down if you have a looser tension. This pattern is very lacey and has a nice drape (it stretches well too). I recommend chaining the first foundation in a larger hook size, then dropping down to complete the remainder of the pattern.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: King Cole Bramble (100% acrylic, 100g/3.52 oz, 290m/317yds)
1 - 2 skeins of Gorse 4490
Crochet hook: 4.5mm / US 7 and 4.00mm / US G/6
Notions: Scissors and yarn needle

WHAT CAN I MAKE FROM THIS PATTERN?:

Scarf, cowl, wrap, blanket, shawl, curtains… anything you want really that’s made in rows and isn’t round haha.
