Worked to a crescent shape, the main body of the shawl is worked in simple stockinette stitch and beaded heart shapes define the lace border.

The pattern is written and charted and has been professionally tech edited and test knit.

Materials

• 3.5 oz / 100g, 440yd / 400m 4 ply or fingering weight yarn. The yarn used in the pattern pictures is Under the Olive Tree Yarn - 50% Superwash Merino 50% Silk in the Raspberry Swirl colourway
• US size 5 (3.75mm) 31.5” (80cm) circular needle
• 406 x size 6 beads, either threaded onto the yarn before casting on or added using a 0.75mm crochet hook as you go along

Gauge

23 stitches and 32 rows to 4 inches / 10cm in stockinette stitch after blocking
