The “Love Me Tender” scarf is part of my Celtic Lover’s Knot series of patterns. The Lover’s Knot stitch produces a light and airy, squishy soft scarf. If you can do one loopy chain and a single crochet stitch you can conquer the Lover’s Knot. It’s easy and fun, and this pattern is a great introduction to the Lover’s Knot. The pattern includes a written and photo tutorial on how to do the Lover’s Knot Stitch.

The simplicity of the scarf in Lover’s Knots creates a beautiful stitch pattern. Starting at the bottom point, the scarf grows upwards toward the top long edge. The scarf is finished off with tassels that are decorative, and also help the ends stay in place when wrapping.

Use a yarn such as Malabrigo Mechita, MadelineTosh Merino Light or Knit Picks Stroll Tonal or any other soft and fluffy
fingering weight yarn. You can make one complete scarf with one skein of either of these yarns.
