In short, this pattern calls for many colourful DK yarn leftovers and is mostly a recipe for a variety of useful items to make your home beautiful with.

You might be able to relate to this:
During the last years you have knitted a few nice pullovers and a cardigan, which you really love. But now they are all tucked into your wardrobe, although they are actually much too pretty to be locked away like this. Also there is a box somewhere in your stash where you keep the leftovers from these projects, and you have no idea what to do with them. You might have thought once in a while: „I need to make room for new cuddly, smoochy yarn. How can I get rid of these useless bits? I want them to go! Shoo, shoo! But…isn‘t it still yarn? I can‘t just throw it away, can I?“

At least this was exactly what I felt and thought. So I weighed all my DK leftovers, and after a bit of mindstorming I found a solution for me and maybe for you too. Now this is what it‘s all about. I‘ll tell you what do do with these bits: Make something to decorate your home with out of them! They will be usefull there, and the best part is that all your scraps and leftovers on your table or floor will remind you of your beloved sweaters all the time.
