These socks were inspired by the famous art piece “Girl With a Balloon” by the mysterious graffiti artist Banksy. You know, young girl trying to catch a red heart-shaped balloon carried away by the wind.

Yarn
Fingering Weight wool or wool blend, 198 yds 200 m/50 g): 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) balls/skeins.

Needle/Hook
Size US 1.5 [2.5 mm] dpn’s, or circulars for preferred method of working small circumference in the round.

Gauge
32 sts and 36 rows = 4” [10cm] in St st

Size XS S, M, L, XL
Finished foot and ankle circumference: 6.5 (7.5, 8.25, 9.25, 10.25)” [16.5 (19, 21, 23.5, 26) cm]
Pick your size with 1 cm (.5 inch) negative ease to better display the cables.
