When I started designing this pattern, I was really inspired by my grandma and as the shawl progressed I realized that my grandma always wanted me to be a confident person. She always cheered me up but she also made sure I knew when I did something wrong.
She taught me to be confident and to love myself with all my flaws. I remember she had a whole wall in her closet dedicated to scarves, shawls, and wraps, I think my love for accessories comes from her. I always feel like I am wearing a hug when I’m wearing my shawl and I wish you feel the same way.

This shawl is divided in sections - it has lace and stripes and stockinette stitch - all of my favorite things and the edge is a very simple design but it gives it an extra something that I just simply love.
