These socks hold so many happy memories for me!
I knit them on my 50th birthday trip and on that trip I met one of my beloved best friends for the very first time - you may know of her, her name is Kelly Lay aka Shropshire’s Premier Vlogger and owner of Lay Family Yarns.

The LoveLay Socks were born.

They are knit toe up using my Beanie toe, and my Mini Gusset short row heel, the socks have sweet and simple panels of interest running up the foot and leg, Oh, and some pretty stripes.

The pattern is written for magic loop and is suitable for an intermediate sock knitter.

It is written in three sizes (56, 64 and 72 sts).

The pattern includes a three video tutorials to demonstrate casting on and starting the toe increases, how to knit yarn ends in as you go and casting off.

For the sample, knit in size medium, I used unknown yarn from my stash.
60g Main colour and 25g Contrast colour.
