Who said symmetry is beautiful? You know better, but are content to watch coquettishly from beneath that elegantly angled corner of your hat while they try to figure it out.

The Lovelock Cloche has a divided cast on: the front is cast on with i-cord, and the back is cast on separately with a stretchy cast-on to keep it snug to your neck. The asymmetrical brim is created with short-rows. The i-cord curls are created during the front cast-on and tacked in place while weaving in the ends. The yarn is a luxurious tweed blend of alpaca and sheep’s wool, keeping your ears toasty and your secrets safe.

Pattern includes links to technique tutorials in the “Resources” section, and chart for short-row brim. Full list of abbreviations also included.
