This is a pattern for a cowl to keep you warm. Cowls are like scarves, except they can’t fall off!!

This project is a easy, and doable for beginners. You need some basic knowledge of crocheting. The pattern uses the following stitches:

ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
sc2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together
sl st: slip stitch
st: stitch

I included lots of pictures to show you the somewhat difficult bits. This will crochet up quickly. It takes me a day to make a cowl like this, and that includes the distractions of a household. :)

You will need:
Worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook 4mm (G)
Thick needle for weaving in ends
Stitch marker (safety pin)
