The jumper is oversized and worked from the top and down with diagonal/European shoulders in 3-4 strands. First, stitches are cast on for the back of the neck and then worked back and forth with increases. Then the shoulders (left, right) are worked from stitches that are picked up along the edge of the shoulders and worked individually back and forth to get the necessary length. The front and back pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round-in-stockinette stitch on a circular needle and finished with a rib edge. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole and worked in the round-in-stockinette stitch to be finished with a rib edge as well. Finally, stitches are picked up from the neck opening and worked in rib stitch. An eye-catching accent is a wide cable along the central front side of the jumper, oversized fit (the chart of cable is provided).

Skill level: Advanced-beginner (knitting in the round + simple knit stitches + left/right leaning decreases and increases, short rows; chart, photos, and links to helpful video of KNITTING TECHNIQUE provided)
