Lovey Hat, designed to match Lovey Arm Warmers, is fast and fun to knit and comfortable to wear.

Knit in the round or flat on a pair of needles - whichever way you prefer. Instructions are given for both working on circulars or a pair of needles so it’s just about which you prefer.

Use just 50g of any Aran weight yarn; cotton, wool, alpaca, whatever you love.

I started knitting Lovey Hat when I realised one Lovey Arm Warmer was already almost a hat. I started on a pair of needles right after knitting Lovey Arm Warmers and now have several knitted both flat and in-the-round in various colours; brown, black, denim, heather and green and they have become my favourites. Lovey Hat is such a good everyday hat!

As an indie knitwear designer I’m free to choose any yarn and needle size. I encourage you to also play with your favourite yarns and needle sizes and enjoy a sense of creative freedom in your knitting.
