Lövstaskogen is a thin sock inspired by the beautiful fall colors in the colors of Lövsta forest, where I spend a lot of time during fall together with by grandfather.

The socks Lövstaskogen have a twisted rib, a simple stranded pattern over the entire sock, short row heel and a wide toe which is finished with kitchener stitch. Cuff, heel and toe are knitted in the main color. You choose the size of your socks by measuring the width around your foot. The length is adjusted by measuring the foot length and therefore when to start shaping the toe.

-Sizes: S= 16 cm around the foot, M=18 cm around the foot, L= 20 cm around the foot.
-Double pointed needles 2,5 mm or the same size for magic loop. You may have to switch needle size in order to achieve the correct gauge.
-Yarn suggestions: Yarn over Jämtland’s sockyarn 400 meters/100 gram in two or three colors. MC approximately 70 grams, 10 grams for CC1 and 15 grams for CC2. If you choose to only use one CC you need 25 grams of it instead.
-Yarn Alternatives: You can choose any other fingering sock yarn with 400 meters/100 grams such as Arwetta Classic or any other yarn with the correct metrage.
-Gauge: approximately 40 sts per 10 cm.

Enjoy your knitting!
