About the Project:
Balaclavas are certainly having a moment as a winter-style staple these days! And for good reason—they are so cute and versatile! Wear it up for maximum shelter from the cold, or pull it down and wear it as a cozy neck warmer.
Project Skill Level: Intermediate
Intermediate-level projects use more involved stitch combinations, color work, and shaping. These patterns are best suited for knitters who are already comfortable following a knit pattern and have worked with circular needles before.

- 1 ball of our exclusive buttery soft Loll, 125g (4.4oz):125m (137y)
- 1 pair of 5 mm (US 8) circular knitting needles
- 1 pair of 6.5 mm (US 10.5) straight or circular knitting needles
- 1 stitch marker
- 1 knitter’s sewing needle

About the Yarn:
This pattern was designed using 1 ball of Project Weekend’s Loll, our exclusive blend of 65% merino wool and 35% baby alpaca, which has been sustainably grown and spun in the highlands of Peru and Argentina. Silky soft, decadent, and with a beautiful drape, Loll is available in 12 beautiful and sophisticated colors.
Each ball weighs 125 g / 4.4 oz and contains 125 m / 137 y of yarn and is produced in a fair trade certified mill.
