These low top sneaker slippers will keep your feet warm and cozy.
There are 9 size ranges to choose from.
They are knit with size 6 super bulky yarn, with size 4 DK used for the laces and braid.
I have created a sneaker slipper pattern with no seams or pieces to sew together.
Sneaker slippers start at the center bottom of the sole with Judy’s Magic Cast On.
The sole is worked in the round and flat using the Magic Loop method.
The bottom-up construction of these slippers allow you to machine sew non-skid patches on the soles during creation.
A horizontal Vikkel Braid adds a spiffy detail that separates the band and body of the sneaker.
The toe is shaped with shadow wrap short rows, slipped stitches and strategic decreases.
The foot is shaped with back and forth short row decreases.
The instep is worked in the round, and also includes shadow wrap short rows, strategic decreases, and a few unusual maneuvers that help with shaping.
The sneaker is completed with a 2 stitch i cord bind off.
The added “sock” is worked in the round, and requires extra yarn. Follow some of my instructions, or use some of your favorite sock patterns as inspiration. The possibilities are endless!
