A simple summer project to brighten up even overcast days.

The main trick to this piece is using lace weight on large needles to produce a really open net fabric, a slight ruffle and a change to the stripe orientation is formed by picking up stitches once half of the piece is finished.

This pattern is named in honor of my Aunt LuAnn who was taken from us suddenly. She always loved those simple, bright, relaxing days of Summer.
