Lucent Lace Shawl
Lucent, that is luminous, aglow with soft light filtering through a window; when the sun shines through the round- shaped panes of a lattice window, it casts a brilliant Lucent pattern of light. The lace pattern in the Shawl represents a similar effect.

Introduction
The shawl is knitted bottom up and one piece. It has an I-cord and 2 edge stitches on both edges. The pattern has 3 Sections: Increasing Section, Straight Section, and Decreasing Section. Size is adjustable; after adding extra multiples of st patterns and repeats of rows, size can be increased in length and width. The lace pattern is adorable and easy to work with; after a few repeats it may be memorized.The Lace design is used throughout the shawl in an elegant and unique way.

Gauge
Before Blocking
24 sts and 40 rows to make 4” × 4 “ ( 10 cm x 10 cm ) in lace pattern
After Wet Blocking.
21 sts and 32 rows to make 4” × 4 “ ( 10 cm x 10 cm )in lace pattern.

Gauge is not crucial in this pattern.
Gauge may vary to every knitter’s knitting tension.
