Lucien is an oversized, boxy cardigan worked from the top down, flat and seamlessly.

The back is shaped first with German short rows to create a soft and natural neckline. The shoulders and fronts are then worked separately before being joined to form the body.

The sleeves are picked up directly around the armholes and worked in the round. The button bands are worked in double stockinette with knitted buttonholes, and the folded 1x1 rib collar gives the cardigan a clean, structured finish.

Lucien is designed with approximately 30–35 cm / 12–14 in of positive ease. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size, as the oversized fit is already included in the pattern.

Lucien est un cardigan ample, oversize et boxy, tricoté du haut vers le bas, à plat et sans couture.

Le dos est d’abord façonné avec des rangs raccourcis à l’allemande afin de créer une encolure douce et naturelle. Les épaules et les demi-devants sont ensuite tricotés séparément, puis réunis pour former le corps.

Les manches sont relevées directement autour des emmanchures, puis tricotées en rond. Les bandes de boutonnage sont travaillées en jersey double avec des boutonnières intégrées, et le col doublé en côtes 1/1 apporte une finition nette et structurée.

Lucien est conçu avec environ 30 à 35 cm d’aisance positive. Si vous hésitez entre deux tailles, choisissez la plus petite : l’effet oversize est déjà intégré au patron.
